Beth Collar is an artist. She works with performance, video, installation, object making and drawing. Interested in experimental archaeology, history, magic and the epic, she is currently making a film about death, sleep, geology and alabaster carving in England. She has been a visiting lecturer at Brighton and Camberwell and has taught drawing at the Natural History Museum and The Whitechapel Art Gallery with the Princes Drawing School. Exhibitions include Aid and Abet, Cambridge, Whitechapel Open, London and Bloomberg New Contemporaries, Liverpool and London, and she recently completed a residency at the Woodmill GP. She studied Sculpture at the Royal College of Art.
