Anti Discipline is a workshop using Dada techniques to deconstruct boundaries in order to generate new ideas and narratives through making. The workshop consists of four exercises across the day, based around the surrealist game ‘Exquisite Corpse’. Working in 2D as well as in 3D, working with found objects and capa bio-plastic. Throughout the day the students are encouraged to look at skills that can be applied to a range of creative fields; from architecture to fashion. Presentation, documentation and criticism are big parts of this workshop, with the intention of developing clarity and confidence in the presentation of the students’ work and ideas. The workshop aims to give the participating students a flavour of creative education and practice at University level and beyond.
