STORE practice is an integral part of the association and subsidises the school. The practice is run by a rolling collaborative partnership between members of the STORE and often involves students of the school and professionals from outside the association.
To date the practice has been awarded a large-scale commission in Bedford square, designing and building an Opera in collaboration with composer Adam Donen. The practice has also had smaller scale commissions outfitting stores and coffee shops, including the KK outlet in Hoxton square and Store Street Espresso in Bloomsbury.
STORE practice has always believed in designing and building projects independently and has developed a culture of experimentation and rigorous prototyping, producing adventurous design.
