In this two day Nike: On Air workshop 100 state school students from different London boroughs explored the foundations of industrial design, colours and materials. Nike: On Air also consisted of talks by Nike designers and two workshops. Students learned how to make shoelaces from scratch, from carding fibres to dyeing and braiding, and designing inflatable sculptural furniture with innovative textiles.
